Gearing Up For The Grammys

I was very excited to get a call from producer and good friend Julian Raymond asking me to create some string arrangements and perform live at this years Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Julian, myself, and several of our industry’s finest musicians, including George Doering, Tim Pierce, and Charlie Bisharat, to name a few, will be participating in a special tribute to Glen Campbell for his lifetime of great work as a record, television, and movie star, as well as an original member of “The Wrecking Crew” in the 60s, as a fantastic studio guitarist. Besides Mr. Campbell, we will also be backing up Blake Shelton and The Band Perry who are participating in the tribute by performing Glen’s songs. The event will be held on February 12th at The Staples Center, with several rehearsals between now and then.
