After working with Cheap Trick for two months developing their “Dream Police” tour, which features the band with an orchestra, I had the opportunity to return to the Northern Lights Theatre in Milwaukee to conduct the “Bombastic Philharmonic Symphonic Orchestra” ( so named by guitarist Rick Nielsen ) for two nights in February. I wrote about 25 orchestral arrangements for the band, and after doing 12 nights in Milwaukee and tweaking the show every weekend, the band has plans to take the show nationally in the near future. My friend Sean McLoughlin was the primary conductor for the Milwaukee shows, and I appreciate having the opportunity to step in myself for a couple of nights and conduct my arrangements. I will post upcoming dates on this site as they are booked, hopefully including some on the West Coast. As always, the band really put on a great show and the crowds were great!
