Like most other film composers I know, I feel a lot more comfortable hunkering down in my studio facing a seemingly insurmountable deadline than talking about what I do. At the same time, I am often asked by friends and colleagues about the process of composing and producing music, and the truth is that each project brings with it a unique set of circumstances that makes the process a little different each time.
